My wife and I are both big gamers and gigantic Disney Parks nerds. When we heard that there was going to be an interactive card game in the Magic Kingdom, we were pretty excited. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom debuted last year at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Every day, you can go get a random pack of cards and an RFID ‘Key’ card to play the game. You go to the specified ‘portals’ in various places around the Magic Kingdom and after it recognizes your key card, you battle villains on a cool looking video screen. To battle them, you hold up one or more of the spell cards you got, which it recognizes with cameras. It’s a blast. When we got home, we had a pile of these really cool collectible spell cards that just seemed like they were begging to be played with, but alas we had no game. So we did what any gamer would do and made one up!
